What is a standard File Box?

Banker's Box File Box Most offices utilize corrugated boxes as containers for storage of various materials, but mostly for records and archives.  Over the years, these boxes have come to be commonly known as 'file boxes', and with shredEX, our document shredding services are generally priced based on a per file box basis.

Standard Sizing

A standard file box measures approximately 10"D x 15"W x12"H

For customers who do not have their documents stored in the standard
file box size, we can provide different sizes of collection bins. When
our driver arrives at your office or residence, he will bring the bin that
would best suit your volume. Our bin size and capacities are:

Small: holds 4-5 file boxes

Medium: holds 6-8 file boxes

Large: holds approx. 10 file boxes

You simply fill up the bin, and we provide you with a pre-set bin price
ahead of time.
